Dr. Kelly Lambert

I am a behavioral neuroscientist, educator, author, and first-generation college graduate who has spent more than three decades investigating how experiences sculpt the brain. As the MacEldin Trawick Chair at the University of Richmond, my research explores experience-based neuroplasticity, emotional resilience, and the role of positive experiences in promoting well-being. Through published research, textbooks, books for general audiences, public speaking, and the Brain Translational Research, Education, and Experience (BrainTREE) initiative, I seek to translate neuroscience into ideas and practices that enrich everyday life.
